At the exhaust shop removing resonator ...

... a few before and after pics in this album: http://gallery.me.com/soulsea#100012&bgcolor=black&view=grid

I can't tell you how happy I am to have done this. Not only that ugliness is off the back of the truck, but she's purring like a kitten. Very subtle, no drone, perfect! :)

Btw, clamped AND welded, perfect fit ... don't know why the other asshats told me they couldn't weld it. :whymewhyme:

Thanks Jacob.

Btw, I decided to put the 3rd row seat back in to see if it would lower the rear a tad, and it actually did. Then I removed the resonator, but that doesn't weigh that much ... it actually made a little difference:

Thanks Felix/Robbie ... I'll take a couple of pics from a distance tomorrow.

Now to decide whether to blow $500 + install on the spare wheel kit and hoist package.

The rack decision is still pending ... it will be subject to how it looks with the rest of the remaining mods.

There's two things on that HyNali that I'm considering:

1. Do I want to spend all that money upgrading to its rear bumper just so I can cover the hitch?

2. That is a HyNali/HyLade specific running board. I figured that out the other day after much research on part numbers. It looks like the regular Nali/Esky running boards but has hybrid specific moldings at the edges. If the oval steps look like ass, that would be the alternative. Expensive and rare as poop though.

x1000000000000000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That Hybrid Denali looks so clean. The esky/denali rear bumper cover will change the whole look of the rear and i've never seen those running boards that would be something unique your car would have!
