Listen..... he was in the shop today... and was of NO ASSistance to me what so ever.
I ask him to hand me the 1/2" drive impact with a u-joint attachment and this sucker hands me a Crescent wrench....

I didn't say to stop wrenching!! I just said I was anxious.I FORGET WHAT DAY IT IS.... LETS JUST CALL IT "TRANS-ADAPT-TO-TRANSFER CASE" DAY!
Started they day off with a shop full of UPS boxes. So I ripped then apart, one by one....
Since I am not using the stock motor, or trans. You have to adapt the 700r4 tailhousing to mate with the stock Jeep T-case. This lovely espensive kit is from my friends at Advance Adapters. Now this kit is for the 700r4 Trans with a 2wd output shaft, which has to be cut down to slip in the yoke. This kit is NOT for the 4wd output shaft.
This is how must sticks out of the tail end of the trans with the 2wd shaft, Now I have to cut that off to 5" of stick to accomidate the adapters yoke.
The adapter is ON, only other thing that goes on is your drive gear for the T-case, washer and nut.

Now I kept the Dana 20 case. Very stromg and it will be good enough for her. Guarantee the jeep willl probably never see 4wd!

Couldnt believe how clean the gears were inside.....
Lets pop that rear drive shaft yoke carrier off.
Someone is cranky today....
Thats what cha get when a "SEAL" throws a fit!
Clean all old gasket surface area...
Now this part was very tricky. I had pop off front driveshaft yoke carrier to get to the gasket. But that sucker only moved 2" up for me to get the old gasket cleaned off and new one installed. Didnt feel like removing shifter arms, so I cheated...
These Jeeps come with 1 shifter to switch from 4wd high and low. Well........ I am putting a twin stick kit in. Looks cooler and you can have fun switching in between you front and rear axles high low range and split them once the engaging "pills" are removed. " JONAH 52, hang in there bubb"!!!!!
Cut pivot bracket off and move forward...
Twin sticks installed with extended linkage. That sucker looks stealth!
PART OF THE POWERPLANT IS DONE!
After Xmas I plan to mate Trans to the block and get it all welded in. Ive gotta go do some promotion to get more customers to my shop...........

why does the T case not have a fresh coat of paint? Don ************ over to the house and make things happen
It will all get sprayed with POR15 on final assembly. ...
