so we have been loosing oil for a while 1qt every few weeks. There is oil on the bell housing behind the motor. So rear main most likely, but I’ve read if the pcv valve is bad it can cause oil to be pushed out the rear main. Is this correct?

If that's an idea--pcvs are cheap enough to give it a shot, or even try to clean yours out. Take it off and shake it. You should hear a ball moving around. If not, hit it with carb cleaner until you do.

There's a technical service bulletin TSB# 10-60-01-008M you might be interested in?

Sounds just like my symptoms. Ended up just dropping $1,300 on the rear main seal. Wish I had better news!
