Kumho

You are crazy running a 305 that low. Go 295/35/24, you'll be happier. :)

What's wrong with a 305? I thought that is what most people run.

Hes Saying that because i have a 3/5 drop and I rub like a mofo with 305, with the 295 i wont have much of a rubbing problem due to the tire being more narrow

I think Kumho is a good tire. Have had nothing but good luck with them.

Oh. Thanks for clearing that up. I have to check back to see how that works out cause that 3/5 is a very nice drop. Oh btw do you mind if I ask how long those 305 tires last?

Mmm, I rubbed quite a bit with 295/35/24s on a 2-3/4 drop.

If you're gonna trim anyway, might as well go with the 305s. :)

Oh and to answer the question ... since you don't get much winter weather in Huston, the best value tire, which also happens to look awesome, is by far the Nitto 420s.

Others might know more about Nexen.

There is a theory however that the one place one should not cheap up on is tires as they are the only thing between your vehicle and the road, even if it means putting off other mods ... I for one subscribe to that theory. :)

Keep in mind that he and I had the same exact asanti wheels, offsets and backspace were identical. Your wheels were different, so I can only speak for what worked for this specific setup. :)
