The ohms are stock, so i would imagine they know that.
Im tired of messing with it for hours on end and getting nowhere, so im done with it and will be looking for a small 4ch 60w x4, 2/4ohm amp.
I would look at some of the jl audio amps some allow separate channel switching, I put a 6 channel in the silverado and another 2 channel for the subs
it supports 2ohm, 4ohm, channel separation, level control for each channel, etc

jl audio xd600/6v2

I like JL Audio amps. I use the 5 channel 900 watt amp (900HD/5) in my car, and it works like a champ.

There are probably a couple ways i can go with amps.
I think the front tweeters are fed from the 2 front door speakers? So i could just put a 4ch amp in it and call it good for now.

OR i could get neck deep over the next 6 months or so.

I could use an amp for the front door speakers, an amp for the tweeters and an amp for the rear speakers. My sub already has an amp.
From reading the manual and looking at diagrams, I'm sure my stereo would support either 6ch amp or 3 separate 2ch amps.
Simplicity, A 6ch amp is the way to go with separate channels for fr tweets, fr door mids, rear door mids.

Like Joe, I have a 5 channel amp running everything with 3 way Fosgate 6.5" in front/rear doors and 1 12" Fosgate sub 2ohm. In my situation, this was ideal instead of having a multitude of amps and other gear. This time, I wanted something more simplistic.

I just swapped out my JL HD amp. Three of the the four went bad. One 1200X1 needed to be unplugged, then re-plug in order to work. One 1200X1 did not like the hot weather and would shut off. One 600X4 would stop play on its own for 20 - 40 seconds then come back on. I just has 4 Mosconi amps installed with aa new box and amp rack.

Was it crap gear, or just real old?

I've never heard of Mosconi before. I checked them out--pretty expensive amps. Is it worth it.

Talked to Maestro again and this time they told me the ONLY way to retain fade is with a compatible radio
When i load the Maestro software i have to use OTHER option. This will not allow fade even though the Maestro will plug into the Atoto.
So my only option is an after market amp.

That sounds like a pretty cheesy trick to me.

Well it kinda is i think.
Atoto says there X10 stereo is supported and it is. No mention of not in the USA. Maestro says not in the USA but overseas is.
There are a few videos showing Maestro app supports Atoto and loading the proper software but not in the US.
I LOVE the stereo so i guess the only solution for me is an amp.
Can't afford JL prices so im looking at 4 CH Alpine, Pioneer or Skar

Check out the prices for a used JL amp. Lots out there. I bought a few of them over the years with good luck.

Have you considered explaining your situation to a local car audio store, or two, and seeing what solutions they may be able to suggest?

Here is the first amp im looking at. Still wanna look at a few more though
I would skip alpine if possible, back in the day they were the bizeness top dawg, but since the latter 2000's they just do not last or work like they used to.
if you can find a nos old school amp go for it.
if you want to be frugal I would go with a Hertz or Orion, maybe a hifonics they are not overly priced and hoid up well
most places don't stock the hertz/orion but you can find them online reasonable

Thanks.
I never thought hifonics would be a mentioned budget amp.
Meh, tons of them around is why. Used to have a guy around here that would bring up truckloads of them from Los Angeles and sell them at below wholesale, haven't seen him since
Covid though, might have put him out of business like many others.

I would compare prices at amazon, sonic electronics, best buy, walmart but walmart is just 3rd party sellers mostly and is prone to canceling orders sometimes.
if you find something online abnormally cheap it's probably too good to be true, beware of shady websites.
if you have a business you can open a business account on amazon and apply tax exemption
all you really need is a permit
