I think even the regular trucks have much bigger brakes as well. There’s a thread talking about wheel comparability or older wheels on the new gen trucks. And they’re saying the wheels are barely clearing the brakes. It’s likely they need spacers to fit older wheels over the brakes. Impressive!

Nice! Wonder what pricing would be like for the components.

The PPV RPO J55 brakes are the same as these: P/N 84766666

Only without the fancy paint and branding.

<
The Chevrolet Performance Front Brake System features Brembo 6-piston, fixed aluminum calipers and larger-than-stock Duralife™ rotors for an 84% increase in brake pad area and a 42% increase in rotor area to increase thermal capacity. The Duralife™ hardened rotor surface helps reduce corrosion and provides quieter braking with less vibration. During testing, the Performance Brake Package provided 31% reduction in pedal force at max deceleration, and 12% reduction in pedal travel, providing improved pedal feel. Brakes are compatible with 20-inch to 22-inch original equipment or Chevrolet Accessory Wheels

Please be aware that I purchased the Brembo Big brake package for my 2015 Yukon Denali , only to find out after that your spare tire Will Not fit over the new break package. Gm's responce when I asked about this( was never informed at time of purchase) To Take the spare tire replace the rear wheel with it and use the rear wheel to replace the front flat tire. In essence a 2 wheel tire change for 1 front flat!

Or you could get a bigger wheel as a spare.

Please post some pictures.

this is on my '15, & just fits in spare location.... so no idea what the spare space is like on the '21+

transits can be hard to come by, but they look good @ 22 inch ;)

I like it, I have the Beltech drop spindles and if I get a front flat I have to do a 2 tire change out using the 17" spare. What size tire is on that 22"? I'm buying me one of those. Thanks for the pic

I wonder if the PPV is going to have a different PN instead of 84766666. It would be nice to see the price come down.

20 inch won't fit in the 18in slot I tried

The overall diameter of the spare wheel and tire should be the same as the rest of your alloy wheels and tire combos. With that I'm confused why a larger wheel will not fit in the spare spot. You have to use a thinner tire with a larger wheel to achieve the same overall diameter.
