Yeah, If I'd been there, I would have had him swap back to factory stuff, but he's offered to just swing by my house once the stuff gets here. Hope it goes smoothly because I do like the lights.

New ballast, bulb and (I think) a new wiring harness for the passenger side from BFC is on the way.

De-badge is done. Painter decided that paint wouldn't be durable enough for the "GMC" in the grill, so wants to do it in vinyl. Of course, he doesn't have any that matches the metallic black of the truck. He said he'd install it for free, but asked me to track down a piece. Whatever. I think I can get a 6x12 piece from one of the local graphics shops for pretty cheap.

Still deciding if I'm satisfied with the stance. Measured the fenders tonight. Front was about 33 1/2 and the rear is about 35 1/4. Think I'd like to go down another inch in the rear. I picked up a 3 foot piece of #10-24 all-thread at Lowe's today to make shorter height sensor links. Figure I'll make pairs of 2.5, 2.75, and 3.0 inches.

Haven't heard anything on the wheels and tires yet. Hopefully, tomorrow. Don't want to make a final decision on the stance until they're on anyway.

Got the headlights all taken care of. Bulb was bad. Disabled the LEDs on both sides, too. Props to BFC for their good customer service. They had new wiring harness, 2 new ballasts and 2 new bulbs sent to me directly from The Retrofit Source. Now I have some spare parts!

Still haven't gotten the "GMC" blacked out yet. Going to try another sign/vinyl shop today.

Still no word on the wheels. Tires are at Discount Tire. Been almost 10 days since the wheels were ordered. Maybe show up today.

Local guy who does custom lettering / pinstriping / airbrushing. I wanted a metallic black to match the paint, but struck out at several local vinyl places. Ended up with just gloss black, but it looks fine, imo. Glad I had it done.

Wheels should be here this week. Getting anxious for the "bling"!

New shoes:









Only issue so far is they sent the wrong center caps. Ordered GMC, but got the Chevy bowties. Replacements on order. Also have a slight rub somewhere. Haven't investigated to see where exactly.

Think I'm done in front. It's low enough. Going to lower the rear another inch, I think. Just a matter of installing the shorter height sensor links I made at work.
