been raining past few days or i'd prob drive it to work.

Rain would make it easier on the drive train if you decide to chain it to a tree for a Ken Block style AWD burnout.

I've been running the Gold blade ls3 90mm on mine for 3yrs not even so much as a hiccup, what are these horror stories?

They usually only have issues with high boost where the pressure overcomes the strength of the electric motor to hold it open and it slams shut.
