skeptical...
i kinda would like to upgrade the harness and use the smart coils

am also about max'd out on full e85. throttle blade closes on shifts, i think this is a common problem with the ls3 tb :(
trans is also back to shifting great! the upper rpm breakup was messing with shift points i guess.

I didn't realize you were running a ls3 TB. I personally haven't run one but have heard so many horror stories about nearly every TB except the LS2 silver blade 90mm. I have a couple of the LS2s and they seem to work great. Why not try a 102mm or something bigger?

Yea the LS2 i also hear are the best ones to get, but they are like 350$+ from a reputable site

my hiram is only 90mm, charge pipes 3.5", tune was already all set up for it so i just grabbed another one to get it moving. isnt much point in throwing a 102mm on and having it sized down before and after it. in either case, seems to be fixed at this time.

Yeah they aren't cheap I got mine off fleabay but one has a broken connector retaining clip and was throwing codes on a buddies Haltech equipped 2 rotor. Seems to do fine on the Tahoe tho I think the p59 ecus are much less sensitive than a Haltech.

Either way if your not having snap shut issues I wouldn't worry about it. Glad you got the spark issue fixed, I don't know much about the smart coils so I think you should go ahead and get a set. :Big Laugh:

yea the snap shut crap, everything i searched seemed to point toward the trans torque management causing it from adjusting the abuse mode settings. I was ready just to deal with it cause who knows if it would ever work with the 4l80 swap tcm and whatever. i logged the torque management for etc/spark/fuel and it came up a "rpm limit". i am not sure why it was even enabled i in the tune tbh. so i disabled it and set the values higher anyway

no more upgrades, unless for some reason it still doesnt run a 10.X it was doing low 11s running like shit so should be good now
