Talk to tony at afr hes all over my ctsvowners.com site great mod truck is a lot more responsive

I talked to him and he mentioned he can sell me a ported new style (bronze blade) LS7 unit...would this fit and get me any gains?

Yes and yes. Had one on my tvs1900 back in the day. Pretty sure you will need a DR-X harness to make it work too, which is $240ish.

Ahh...thats no good...whats the difference between the two? other than the ugly bulge sticking out the side...

i did a dyno no hp increase for ported stock one to the ls78 unit and it bolts right in no harness needed on my 6.2 esky.

I have a new ls7 here i tested if your intersted

Tuned or untuned? Supercharged or no supercharger? I think his setup is different than yours Tony.

stock tb ported going to a stock ls7 gained no improvement at all and sorry this was my tbss not esky.

im dynoing my truck again next week im hoping from 367/398 we get something like 380/410

smokey i have a ls7 tb here used literally for 20 miles on my ctsv. I have a new blower and nw 102mm coming if your interested in it hit me up. it wil be better than stock but if you have a ported stock tb now dont wast eyour time

So this is what I'm getting from you guys:

Ported stock tb is the same as a stock ls7 tb. If that statement is correct, I will have to assume the best gains would be with a ls7 tb when its ported. I'm guessing the ls7 tb is bigger than the stocker L92 tb.
