So whats the stock size for our truck TB?

Whats the stock size of an LS7 TB?

if in not mistaken its 90mm on the ls7 and like 85 on our stock one.

IM headed to sema in a few but when i come back I can check and take pics because I have both here.

well muffler broke in more now and has a deeper tone so did some blasts tonight. Ill be cutting off the 3rd cat prob tuesday.

Sounds good, but ull have to agree with me, camera doesn't do it justice. Sounds even better in person. I'll try to get some videos as well! Love the muffler. Thanks for suggestion.

How long do the Magnaflows keeps "breaking in" ?

cut the 3rd cat off truck sounds much nicer. I used a 12 inch piece of 3.5 pipe and welded it up

also added a catch can these trucks really need it

is the removal of the cat the only difference between this dyno and the previous ?

also, did you get any more drone or noise inside the cabin with the removal of the 3rd cat? i dont want to increase anything right now...from what i noticed after my magnaflow broke in it got a little nicer inside...dont know if its the cooler weather or i got used to it, but i remember it being annoying at first inside...

I read somewhere on this site that ported throttle bodies don't do anything on these newer motors would you disagree?

Im friends with tony mamo at afr and he ports tbs now and the truck is a lot more responsive with the ported tb he did for me. There are tons of "TB PORTERS" out there and they just hack it up. He knows how to do it right. My wife even noticed how much more responsive it was and remember my wifes old tbss had heads/cam/3600 converter and she drove it daily no issues. She picks up on mods very quickly also.

ctsv and trucks use the same tb. If you go on my ctsv site www.ctsvowners.com you will see how many people like the ported tb from tony mamo.
