Maybe yours are threaded. The rod might be glued into it. You could try heating the rod long enough to for the heat to travel into the plastic end but not melt it, then try twisting it out.

My shíz-

Stainless 10-24 threaded rod from Home Depot or Lowe's:

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the dorman links are glued in. Not sure about the OEM ones since I chose not to perform surgery on them and take the chance of destroying them LOL One step forward, 3 steps back :D

So, a thing happened

Short version: Burb sold, now an owner of a ‘17 Yukon XL Denali. The end.

Long version: Feller inquired if I’d be interested in selling Burb. I initially told feller “probably not” but let me talk to the wife. She hates changing cars (doesn’t like change in general) so I doubted she’d agree. Anyhoot, after talks she said she wasn’t against it. Feller and I talked further and we came to an agreement that please both of us.

Over the next couple or 3 weeks the transaction will be complete and the Burb will have a new home. With that, I figured it’d be best to find the replacement sooner rather than later so that she’s not without wheels once the Burb drives off. She can drive the dually but doesn’t prefer it

Got what I’d consider a pretty decent deal on the ‘17 Denali. Drove to St Louis to pick her up yesterday. The wife always liked that maroon color so we went back to that. Not sure if I’ll even make a thread on this one. Already ordered Husky floor liners to put throughout the unit. Corsa CAI showed up today. Tint will be happening ASAP. Corsa cat back exhaust coming soon. After that I’m not sure. Maybe different 22s but maybe not. If I lower it I’m removing the auto ride suspension all together. Loving the 6.2 and she got about 20 mpg on our way back from St Louis yesterday :love62:

Here are pics from the sale ad. I’ll get other pics when I get a chance

Same happened to me on my Weathertech liners in the 07. My parents have been running the Husky liners in there rides for a few years now and have none of that so that’s why I’m making the switch

I've read if the weathertechs lose their shape, just flip them inside out, and sit them in the sun for a day. Flip them back and they'll be gtg.

I read that too and am going to have to try it once it warms up. Mine have started to go limp like others have mentioned.
