Can I get anyone with a 2007 Yukon Denali and a Tech2 to confirm that they can see that option? Is it just my Tech2? I am pretty sure the connection is fine as I was able to successfully reprogram the ECM/TCM. The Tech2 reports back the correct software IDs that were not there before I did the update. I can also perform other diagnostic checks and the Tech2 reads all the transmission values when I got into the sensor option (temp, line pressure, etc).

I went out to mine and took these photos for you:

Not like the engine sensors?
Nope, the only thing that can be reset normally is if it throws a transmission code, then you could clear it the same way you would a check engine light.
how do I know? lol
well when you wreck a transmission like a virgin vag and it locks up on you, you can clear it and try again lol

Hmm, I've never had to clear a locked up vag

Actually, don't think I've even had a locked up vag, or know what one is....lol

From the pan plug or the filter? I have a 4'x5' piece of cardboard that I keep around to slide under vehicles when I change oil just in case.

first one, then the other haha. It got everywhere. First I missed the drain plug pure with the opening for my pan, then it started to drip at the pan, but the distance between the stream and drip was wider then my oil container opening. the filter wasnt as bad until I got it off and then it slipped and ran over the sway bar and my hand. Even with my piece of cardboard, i soaked it in oil. Then the oil catch pan i have doesnt tighen the cap all the way so it slowly leaks if i dont store it at an angle.

long story short, i need a new oil catch pan, looking at a flat one with all the drain on top and an extendable funnel. i think that will help my case
