yep...those cars had the same bolt pattern and I think the same (or very similar backspacing) so squarebody and GMT400 wheels will work on the Caprices and vice versa

Yeah, he'd love that car. If I remember correctly he has a buddy with a Roadmaster that has "wood paneling" on it that he raves about. It's a pretty similar color to the Caprice I had. I miss that car sometimes. And Retro has said more than once that he hates those wheelsFor some reason Retro comes to mind looking at that car.

Can’t remember where I took this, but the guy literally jacked up the car, pulled another tire out of the backseat put it on the car and left!
