I installed a Derale 15749 dual filter setup...

I also installed an aftermarket oil cooler since my truck didn't have one already.
Then I ended up having hydraulic hoses made up for it so I could get away from those barbed fittings that came in the kit...

Swathdiver, how doe the AC & the Wix compare on oil flow, a topic which you touched upon in another thread?
The K&N numbers look fantastic ? Be great if you could install a electrical external pump so you could pressurize the system before a start ?
Wouldn't more flow give less pressure?

Oil pressure is measured after the oil filter.
Less flow (volume) through the filter should equal less pressure after the filter.
More flow/volume through the filter should equal higher pressure after the filter... IMO
If your pressure sensor was located in between the oil pump and oil filter then a filter that flows less GPM would increase pressure, while a filter that flows more GPM would decrease pressure.
What if the OEM was sitting next to FRAM on the shelf at wally world? No go?I wouldn't use anything with the word 'FRAM' on it, near it, once referred to as such, nor do I ever in this life even think of anything, even if it was for my pets and beneficial to same. FRAM is the last thing I'd ever consider for my Truck.
And this feelings are dur to their OWN actions. They pissed down too many legs, (Mine included) over the years. When I worked in Garages for the years and years, they had a chance to improve their product, but money is what guided them, I'd leave a dirty oil filter on instead of using one of theirs. Now I hope they will never get $0.10 from me ever again. Since the 70's they have killed at least 50 engine I know of or have had interment relations of. Never ever !

It was a joke dude in response to your prior post. And that would be a AC DELCO ? I use a AC63
I currently use a AC 63E, so is that what you meant ? But I'd, as I said never use a FRAM anything.
I like the ultra synthetics. I swap back and forth between those and the amsoil units. Wouldn't touch anything else in fram's lineup but their top tier ones are actually really niceWhat if the OEM was sitting next to FRAM on the shelf at wally world? No go?
