Yes!!! Love the jacked up Burbans. Too many parking garages for me ... But damn. Looks great. 6"? Or how high is that? What kit?
I hate parking garages since I can't use any of them [emoji23]. 7.5" RC Lift and 3" body lift plus 5100 bilstein struts.

I finally got around to installing my 3.5" lift spindles, 3" rear coil spring spacers, and 35x12.50R22 Venom Tires/Escalade Black Replica 22s this last weekend. I bought some of those cheesy caliper covers, but only because they were Amazon Warehouse deals for like $15 instead of $200. I had to trim a bunch off the front bumper, the rear inner fender, and the power running boards to fit the 35s. Next up is blacking out the rest of the chrome and painted tow mirrors. I'll have more pics and details up in my build thread later.

Looks good!!!

You should send me those Esky mirrors for my Birthday next week... lol

Thanks Tony. Yeah. I’m not jumping on it, just figured it would be a good idea to accumulate this part sooner than later. [emoji106][emoji16].. though, I’m still waiting on a reply, so hope he still has one for me.

I did like Tony said, I used a piece of solid #10 all the way to the rear window. I can get pics if you want. I'm sure it depends on location, but my FM reception is perfect, and my AM (which I use ALOT) is tolerable.

Pics would be great! But don’t do it if you have to pull any panels off, etc..!

Haha, thanks! And you wouldn't like the mirrors anyway...the driver side doesn't fold and they're both all beat up. I'll probably just keep them in case I want to go back one day.

That is high up there.

The RC seems hit or miss. How is it?

Definite miss on the RC. It used to squeek alot, the struts and upper control arms were trash and I replaced both and used BDS upper control arms. Other than that; it drives fine.

I feel about 3.5/5 on my 2” leveling spacers from RC. I was shocked that they’re some form of plastic and not cast metal like I thought they were. Their fasteners were super nice though. That said its not as hard to engineer as a big ass lift kit.

I do however have my eye on their Vertex coilovers. Not sure if they make anything for GMT900 though...

Ok, I'm about to start collecting parts to tear down the Yukon. What has been suggested so far for my LY6 6.0L

Keep my current heads in lieu of LS3 heads as they are Cast #823 heads, LOL.
Clean up heads and install new valve guide seals if needed.
Replace lifters with LS7 Lifters and tray
New push rods
LS9 Head Gaskets (Was told best factory gasket available for a NA Gen IV LS)
APR Head Bolt kit
Replace Valve-cover, Intake and Valley Pan Gaskets
New Plugs, Thermostat and Dex-Cool Coolant

Anything I am missing?

She only has 115K miles with 5k semi-synthetic OCI's

I didn't want to budget build this, but funds are low at the moment

If you ever want to run FlexFuels now is the time for a fuel pump and injector upgrade along with ECM programming to basically convert your LY6 to an L96.

Thanks James, unfortunately Flex-Fuel is hard to come by around me. I'm just going to stick with non-flex since she's going to be my towing rig as I have a commuter now

Figured that, last time I looked there was only a station or two in your town that sold it. Good luck with the build.
I don't think there is any in Modesto the one and only place anywhere around here is in Sacramento and it's just 1 station, there are 3 scattered around the entire San Francisco area

Might consider taking a look at the screen under the oil pressure sensor and maybe putting a new sensor in as well. Never gonna have easier access to it than when the intake is off.

If you don’t have it already, get the updated valve cover for the drivers side.

Noticed the oil was a lil low so decided to just change it since it was due. Also flushed the power steering fluid.

Now that’s done all the fluids have been changed in the truck.
