Hi there,
I have a chev 2010 Tahoe and i drilled a hole where the lift gate latch is, so i could manually unlock the gate. It opened, but once i closed it , it became stuck again. WD40 it, and still wont open. Any idea of what i should do before i take it to a garage? Trying to save $$.
Also, backed into something and cracked/broke my right passenger tail light. Ordered replacement off Amazon, . Took old light off, and when I went to plug new one it, found the plug to be under the back of the vehicle. Not easy to reach and a bit corroded. I was too afraid to grab at it as I laid on my back on the road. I don't want to pull or break anything, I just want to unplug it, and plug the new assembly in. How do i safely unplug the old ...its attached underneath and I dont see anyway of dislodging it. Wish it had been just tucked into the light, and not stuck on the underside where I cant get at it or unplug it.
Let me know your thoughts!!!
