Success! replaced the passenger/right side blend door actuator, calibrated and no more codes! I used the dorman 604-106 which replaces the oem # 1572971, both the left and right sides use the same part number, the left is on the bottom, right is on the top.

Uh oh...a Dorman part in a hard to get to place? Sure hope it lasts. :)
it wasn't really very hard at all, not any harder than the the bottom one, I had like 15 of the Dorman's in my ebay listings so beats $125+ from the dealer even rockauto wants $115 for one.
* I thought it was going to be a lot harder than it was but it turned out to be pretty simple.

how does it effect disassembly of the dash if one were to need to do that?
That's kinda what I'm wondering. How hard is it to take it off incase you have to get to the center speaker or light sensor and any of the wire harnesses under the defroster piece along the windshield?

It doesn't cover any fasteners, essentially a second skin.

What year did they add the center speaker? My 07 doesn’t have one...

This is what I did a few min ago. After diting the spare tire and assoiated tools, I was left with an empty cavity in the rear cargo area. I moved my jumper cables and recovery strap into there. The cupholder piece still fits perfectly.

I have those items a bunch more in there with the jack, plenty of room in there.., the center speaker comes with premium audio systems (high trim) like with the ltz, denali's, escalades.

I need to do some more fiddling with the space in there. I think if i fold the cables better I may be able to fit the emergency water packs, jet boil, and ramen in there too.

Edit: my 07 is an LTZ with Bose speakers and the factory navigation

You have to pull the dashskin off to remove any part of the original dash. I was looking at the pics and you can’t pull the instrument cluster either. The original dash is 3 pieces- the long skinny one that goes between the windshield and dash, the curved one over the cluster, and the dash itself. To pull the cluster you need to pull the curved piece first, and to remove the dash you need to pull the long skinny piece (it just has clips that hold it on) to get to the screws that hold the front of the dash on. The dashskin covers all 3 pieces.

Besides the jack and stuff I also have 4 pair of wireless headphones and remote for the RSE in there.

I keep a set of jumper cables in the storage compartment that's further back by the liftgate. I think only the LWB (Suburban/XL) has that though

Tahoe! Also have power lift gate. I’m gonna go thru my EDC bags and ditch a bunch of shit. Weight reduction must go on.

This winter if I can get new tires- I’m gonna try driving for Uber- so I won’t be able to have any clutter in the back, and When I’m driving the 3rd row is going in.

the curved piece around the cluster comes off after you take off the horizontal front dash trim/vent pieces off, that dash cover would not prevent you from pulling the cluster out

How can you get the curved piece off if the dashskin is glued to it? The one on my Silvy has to lift up slightly to remove it as you pull it forward. I’m talking the ****** piece over the top of the cluster.

the ****** part does not come off, the inside of the ****** part comes off, there is 2 star bit screws on the inside top edge and then there is 2 7mm bolt's one on each side behind the vent trim, then it just pulls out, then there is a inner plastic trim that comes out and then the cluster comes out.

Interesting. I’m just going to get a dash carpet. I’ve only got two teeny tiny cracks in my dash so I’ll grab a dark grey dash carpet from Amazon. I got one for my s10 so I’ll just go the same route.
