CB&D makes brackets to retrofit hid projectors into them.... (lol no I dont work for them I'm just super pleased with their brackets)

For the tahoe lights ? I know they do for Denali lights.

Dang I dont think they had these when I bought my retro stuff or else I would have went this route for sure. Was always jealous of the Denali owners because they had adapter brackets.

I found two other companies that make this (same or similar) bracket. The other two were $70 each, CB&D is $55.

I know lightwerks sells brackets that are 70 but I think they are CB&D brackets

I've read this thread from start to finish. I am leaning toward Depo's to upgrade the OEM. I am still unclear on choice of bulb. I am not wanting to throw a bunch of glare, nor looking to spend $$$ on bulbs that may only last 1-2 years. So for a decent upgrade would a lower end be just replace the lenses with Depos and add a decent halogen bulb, and on the higher end, replace with Depos and install something like Supernova V4's? I'm stuck on which bulb to use.

That'd get the job done with a silverstar bulb or an LED that doesn't take up as much space - I think a V4 LED would run into the pesky frame assembly when you're trying to re-install the headlight housing ~could be wrong. A ribbon cooled LED might fit ok. Anyone run a low profile LED that clears?

Ran the silverstar ultras knowing while I waited on a set of HID's. The glare you'd expect from HID is focused well by the Depos and hit the targeted patch of road much better than the ultras. Go with a decent set of HID in my opinion. I'd otherwise try an LED that'll fit but halogen are just lame.

Soulsea...been awhile since I've been around. Life has a funny way of distracting you from things that don't matter as much...lol.

This is a great write-up. I'm still rockin' the same retro. My Depo lenses need to be polished, but that's about the only complaint.

Finally found a set of headlights I was comfortable with to replace my factory set. I got a pair of Spyder Projection headlights that have LED accents but uses all factory lights for headlights, DRL, signals and park/marker lights.
Install is wrapping up with no issues.

She’s all put together. Unfortunately couldn’t get a good pic with the lights on that would allow all lights to be seen clearly
