Yes, looks good, I’ve never seen it done. Do the newer bedsides all unbolt like the older ones(70-80’s) used to? That and a few pinch welds up top and along the edge it was off...

It's not a GM color either. Here's a pic of how it looks when the sun hits it right; it kind of goes two-tone.
I don't see any bolts so I don't think so. I only have a few pics of the bed from the build. Here's a couple but they don't reveal much.

A couple light videos.The projectors aren't on, that's just the switchbacks in their white mode, park lights on.

Unfortunately that won't be easy. I need to make a curved flat place for them to mount on that I can install halfway down the grill. I'm thinking 1/8" plastic that I can jigsaw to the curve of the grill. Or figure out a way to make aluminum flatstock bend.

I took the demon eyes / RGB controller off the park light circuit and added a separate switch for them so I can control them easier. Also when I'm at a show or just hangin', I can turn them on without worrying about running the battery down. And without the white park lights up front they'll look better. I decided that the little nook where the park brake release used to be would be perfect for the switch. It's super easy to find by feel and the switch isn't even visible unless you bend down and look. It lights up red when it's on so I can just look for the glow.

I also got the clip for the brake line where it runs across the rear axle today. The passenger side had one but not the driver side so I added one. It keeps the line away from the flanges on the axle so it doesn't rub, plus it holds it securely. The flanges stick out over an inch from the axle so it's not good to just zip tie it because it will rub even though I had put a rubber hose around it when I did the brake conversion. When the line was connected solidly to the back of the drum brake backing plate it wasn't as critical since it couldn't move much but once I connected it to the stainless flex line it needed to be secured. It's the little things.

Without the park lights, the colors show up way better. It's a rainy night but here's some shots. The one strip across the top actually lights up the whole grill pretty good. BTW I had to pull the passenger side headlight today, dry it out, and reseal it. I really hope this fixes it; I noticed it fogged after I washed the truck the other day and I hosed it down hard. The design of the NNBS Silverado headlights aren't the best for sealing and I really hate doing things twice.

Looking great! It takes a lot of butyl rubber to seal them back up. Sure they will hold up now. How do you enjoy the retro?

Yeah, I used the retro rubber from TRS when I put them back together, and also black RTV. I added some more RTV. I just drove it at night a couple days ago for the first time and I was impressed especially when I hit the high beam and the shutters opened as well as the regular high beams at the same time.

That is my dream daily right there.
That lift kit alone is like 3 grand without shocks, control arms, anything.

Don’t want to thread jack but they aren’t 3k, the Showoff 00-06 7” kit is $1,700 raw metal or black and comes with shocks, $2,099 powder coated in any color you would like and still comes with shocks but you are right that it doesn’t include anything else, no steering stuff, no control arms. Cognito’s 7-9” kit, front and rear together are $2,930 only comes with steering upgrades, doesn’t include control arms, driveshaft, sway bars, shock hoops, or shocks. I asked about powder coating the Cognito kit and they wanted $1,500. So to get the same kit from Cognito with powder coating its $4,450. To get all the upgrades on a Cognito 7-9 kit with arms, shock hoops, driveline, swaybars, and upgrade Fox’s shocks you might want to pull your pants up high cause it ain’t cheap, $6550 quoted shipped to my door. That’s not including powder coating. Would have been around $8000 said and done with powder. Showoff kits are super nice but no where near the price point of Cognito, they are more in between RCX and BDS.

Love the lights, looks much better without the white parking light. Also makes want to spend money I shouldn’t and redo my headlights
Those kits don’t work for the escalade/denali.
Showoff/fts/tcs esky/nali 6.5 kit is 3k with no shocks, control arms, or anything. Believe it comes with new front driveshaft.
Never seen a cog/rcx/bds for those either.
