I bought my 99 suburban in 2008 with 115K no problems. I bought my 01 Y XL with 107K no problems. Now I have my 02 Suburban, bought with 63K 3yrs ago has 98K with no problems.

I would buy all the way up to about 120K and feel good about it.

We just bought an 07 Denali with 122,000 miles on it. Everything works, and it is very clean. It was owned in Franklin, TN, so I felt like it was a good gamble. It's a pretty wealthy suburb, so I thought the odds of it being maintained well were pretty good. I have been tinkering with it since we got it changing all of the fluids, headlight restoration, and general maintenance stuff.

We just took a family vacation to the beach which is a 7 hour drive each way. It ran perfectly, and I almost got 17mpg for the trip on 87 octane gas.

Id buy a 200k vehicle...From the right seller. If someone maintained their vehicle to the standards that I do, I wouldnt have a problem buying a higher mileage 5.3 or 6.0.
However i wouldnt buy a vehicle with 10000 miles on it from a 20 year old kid with a backwards cap, racing stickers plastered all over his lowered truck, claiming hes raced and beaten new cameros lol, but not remembering the last time he had the oil changed : /

went to go see this denali today

It wasn't too bad at all, I didn't hear or see anything in the engine that worried me, it will need new breaks soon they felt a little weak. However cosmetically it did have some flaws, I noticed a small hail sized dent on both the rear tailgate and front. Underneath the car there was moderate rust (expected from a truck driven in the winter). The rear defroster cable also came unsoldered from the glass. I told the salesman all this and I actually ended up knowing him so he told me hel do his best to get it to me and I just told him I have 16,500 to spend and he said hel see if he can get it at that price...Not that I'll absolutely get it but I just want to see first

Maybe its just me... But 16500 for that with the issues and mileage seems a bit steep considering its a 7 year old truck. Just my .02
