http://www.2040-cars.com/chevrolet/Tahoe/2003-chevrolet-tahoe-z71-fire-command-ems-vehicle-175360/Wish it was mine. Before I die I want to own at least 5 of the barn door models. Did they ever make a Z71 barn door Tahoe model from 2000 to 2006?

Lol, me too, that's how I knew.
I still have yet to pull my front doors to replace all the hinges since both doors are sagging. I'm not looking forward to that repair either. LOLPulled my passenger door off. Attempt #12 at getting it to shut right. Discovered my speakers were getting wet. Love this truck
I've never had good dealings with Dorman so I'm going to say possibly a bad lock mechanism on their part. I would locate a new or even a used ACDelco original from a yard and see if that solves the issue.Check it out what the heck is going on with my door
I agree with the Dorman conclusion. Try for a used oem if possible. I had the exact same problem with my 95 Blazer. Did the door hinges and got a used oem latch. Fixed it. Would close tight on the first try.I've never had good dealings with Dorman so I'm going to say possibly a bad lock mechanism on their part. There's also the possibility that even if the lock is good the door frame up at the top may be bowed in towards the body causing it to not be fully closed without extra force.
