What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

The console of of the escalade/yukon fits beautifully in mine plus it has a factory bose sub in it.

I am honestly not sure. I have a aftermarket radio with a amp and 2 12's already. I just hook the bose sub to my aftermarket amp. Got to change to sub tho amp was to big for it. But good thing I have another one that I just have to pull out of the vehicle. Lol

I did the console also and using that little wonder Bose sub I took out my 12's I'm just using this Bose sub.this bose sub is 1.4 ohms so a class d 1 ohm stable amp is needed to run this sub. I'm using a Mtx 350 rms@ 1 ohm amp and it has plenty of power since there's no specs on the sub power handling so I think I'm safe with the 350 RMS.

Thats about the size of amp that I am going to get when I replace the sub. I will be removing my 12's when I get the right size amp for it. Im going to try to put the amp under the console just like the factory one and makes it a LOT easier to hide all the wiring.

Did a little work to one of my door panels today. Going to finish doing the rest of them tomorrow pull going to install the rear bumper cover.

Well that amp will get hot under there you will do better under seat.also I set the low pass filter on amp to 100hz and I don't remember what colour wire on sub is + . I also installed this sub in my dodge van between front seats and it sounds good in there also with the same Mtx amp.

That's good info for my near future. Lol I already know which wire is + & - on the sub. I have access to alldata and Michelle on demand. Guess there are a few small pluses being a automotive mechanic. Lol

They did a cheap job on them rear flip down cup holders. Mine broke to and most or missing at the junkyards I will figure a better way to beef up the cup holder one day .

Im going to beef mine up with some small washers and on u-bond.

Well went to do the fuel pump and the real problem was the gas tank..........

I'm having a clean used tank delivered tomorrow

NOTES: GM list a new tank for $1000.00, but nothing in stock in the USA, LMC Truck has them but they want almost $800.00 plus shipping and then over size fee

The problem spot on my tank was the 4 locking hooks for the fuel pump lock ring.......only 1 of 4 remain in place 1 was AWOL and the other 2 broke off while removing the lock ring.

I fixed my rear flip down cup holder in my console the other night. Cost me less then $4 and works better then new. I used a washer and jb weld.
