If pulling back turns high beams on, how do you flash the high beams?

I completely forgot how 'normal' stalks work now..

I am glad that I use the speed barrel to mist, that way I won't accidentally hit the sprayers when I just want to mist wipe..
Not really a problem since it takes so long for the fluid to reach the nozzle. You wouldn't hold the tab that long for a mist wipe anyway...

I'm forgetting how other cars work I'm been driving this thing the past 3 years..

(not a huge problem since it probably takes longer for the fluid to reach the nozzle than you would be holding down the tab if you wanted a mist wipe)
You just bump the stalk half-way, and the brights activate, but don't stay on. Pull back all the way, and you can feel the "click-click".

I always liked the foot operated high beams. I have considered adding one to the Burb and hooking it up to my light bar or something.
The problem with those is that you can't have a dead pedal, unless you put it under the brake pedal like some Mopars had. I much prefer column-mounted and intend to change my AMC Spirit to that if I can find a non-tilt column with it (it's my autocross car and the lack of a dead pedal sucks).

Speaking of dead pedal.. another planned project.. There is this ebay auction...

- Rare aftermarket driver left foot rest (Not made anymore)

Buuut... You gotta buy the whole car..
It will unfortunately affect the floor mat.
I thought about a pedal from the kick panel, but seems like that would obstruct the parking brake, as the pictured one also will.
Also considering a pedal that sits between parking brake and brake pedal..

Or maybe I need new parking brake shoes. I've already tightened the cable and pretensioned them a little..
They work, but they go way down and I don't want to pretension anymore..

Another aftermarket one for colorado/canyon... Lot of bracketry though..

Floating style for a jeep..

I'll consider autocross after putting 20" wheels on, it noticeably helps with the lean in corners!
Ride quality not bad..

But I was planning on a dead pedal before these changes.
More for comfort. I notice I use my knees to brace against the door panel or center console usually.
But now you can push yourself back into the seat too.
Seats are just too slippery.

I gotta say, I use the grab handle that I installed pretty often!
Everytime there is a tight parking space and I need to squeeze in the door, that handle makes it a LOT better.
There are other times I use it too... I fully recommend it to anyone who's ever felt the need.

I found myself smashing the foot sometimes on my other cars because I drive my C10 alot at night so I'm always smashing the foot highbeam lol Using one as a lightbar switch is genius tho.

What you miss about old sprayers.. is what I'm doing.. FYI.
I'll call it a nostalgia mod if you still insist there is no value.

Also miss the fresh air vent that was manually controlled.. Don't need no computer telling me when I can and can't ventilate.. Ridiculous! :p
Them damn computers!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

Did what turned out to be a very messy job on Cracker and Sp00k today. Changed the Transmission filter and about 6 quarts of fluid on both.
Managed to spill about 3/4 of a gallon of oil fluid removing the pans on the plywood i had under both so i could stay off the grass.
Now in the spring im going to have a nice size patch of dead grass right in the middle of the backyard.
I did not take any pics of Sp00k's transmission pan but it did look very much like Crackers oil pan. Sp00k has 139K and fluid was dark but did not smell burnt and nothing odd in the oil pan or magnet.
I almost think Cracker's transmission is original @240K. No way to know for sure and car fax does not show the trans ever being changed.
Just had a little black gunk stuck to the magnet like they all get.
I also put a new Dorman pan back on that has a drain plug. If i ever do Sp00k again i'll get the same pan.

Anyway here are a couple pics of Cracker's old pan and new pan with the drain plug.

Why in the world is Sp00k a censored word?
because it is a slang term, I won't go into details but if you do not know you can search it up online

That sounds like a pretty good endorsement for the Dorman pan. Was this the 265-582 kit? Looks kinda pricey, but it does contain the pan, gasket, and filter.

Figured out I didnt like how the pushbar looked on the yukon. It just was small compared to the rest of the truck. So I will hold out till I can find a Setina for cheap. So I will be putting the Push Bar on the VW though so that'll be fun.
