Have heard that too!

But then, what difference does it make if it's backwards when the hoses are the same size?
It goes through the heater core backwards? Shouldn't matter?


I believe in general water flows from bottom to top so that air doesn't get trapped?

I don't know haha.

Sounds good!

Although on my Tahoe the heater core connections are both on top tank.
Looks to be partitioned and flow in a 'U' flow pattern.

I have toe plate with camber gauge as well as turn plates. the problem is my garage floor isn't flat.
My garage isn't flat, either, but I do all my alignments myself and make the floor "flat" under the tires with the use of a water level and a box of plain vinyl floor tiles. To make "turn plates" for the front wheels, you can use newspaper/wax paper layers (alternating 3 news & 3 wax is usually enough) between a pair of tiles, or some thin slick plastic sheets (I used 8573K271 1/32 Delrin from McMaster-Carr).

huh. I'll have to Google water level.

the turn plates are worth it I tried a few didn't cutting board tricks but turn plates are cheap enough these days it feels worth it if you're going to use them a few times.

Cleaned up the inside, will give it a bath tomorrow.
Also found that my passenger side valve cover has decided to start leaking and the driver side is weeping.
Ordered some new gaskets and new wires since they have to come off the coil packs, at the very least, to get to the valve cover gaskets.

Washed it today, still waiting on RA to deliver my parts so I can do the valve cover gaskets.
I sure hope the plug wires aren't a massive PIA.
Other GMT900's that I have done plugs and wires on, the plug wires were a major PIA.

Got a little spicy today, gents. Went up up up some Class-6 roads into woodbooger territory to find a quiet spot to test out the new 1911, and then decided to explore a bit further down the trail. Things got a little messy on the way out and almost thought I'd need a tow/winch from some friends.

Luckily, I bounced my way up the mud & rocks and somehow managed to extract myself in one piece. The rig suffered ome plastic damage, but no sheet metal seemed to be wrecked. I did pop the tailpipe hanger off the hook, but it should pop back on.

It always looks easier coming downhill.

After some judicious maneuvering & redlining the 7000lb pig made it up several more heartbreakers, and survived.

Only lost a fog night, a shattered running board, and the bumper cover is creased on both sides. Uh, and the front valance peeled off....just plastic, right. No sheet metal was damaged in this top up the mountain.

Spent $20 and two full cy'les spraying it down after getting out. Still dirty as frig.

Folded up poly sheeting works well as turn plates too.
