Not all cars 20+ years old have those standard. Our 2015 Acadia has auto up but no remote functions. Only cars I know that old that had remote window functions was with aftermarket alarm systems.

It does much, much more and also has the ability to flash the BCM.

I like it mostly for the ability to disable the TPMS system and have no warning lights on dash due to dead sensors.

Also can disable AFM
Read and clear trouble codes
Program key fobs

my 2014 volt does it.. just hold unlock for a few seconds and all the windows roll down, I believe it goes back to 2012.

gm is very annoying with its features. some 2018 tahoes still have to use a key while other gm cars have been keyless since 05.

Was stuck crawling up a hill in traffic on the way home yesterday. IATs didn't like that. Was only 103 yesterday.
Then they settled back down after we actually got rolling again.

I bet those good lovers would have really helped.

are you running e85? if so intake Temps aren't really a concern. it's why it works so well in boosted engines. hot intake air Temps only really matter if you gotta reduce timing to keep it from rattling to death. with e, you can run full timing at much higher Temps, so not a huge deal. you could try wrapping the intake tube from box to tb with some heat reflection. DEI makes good stuff. you've got cool ish outside air running thru it at a good quantity, just need to reflect some off the radiator and header heat for short time while going up the hill.

I have been meaning to email the bt guys and asked if they have tested their dongle on the hybrids. I also have a few options that would really be helpful if they could add the commands at startup. especially on trucks with older hybrid batteries that are struggling. might keep these out of the junk yards for a few more years, or at least till afm eats them up haha.

That's why I procrastinate! Waited all week for temps to drop under 100..
Still gonna hit 101 today.. gonna have to wait until tomorrow! (85deg!)

I don't know why but I never see it. as someone that works outside in this 100 plus degree crap all the time.. cordless fans have become a lifesaver. whatever battery platform you're in, grab one or 2 of their fans and carry them around with you. I have 3 different sizes ryobi ones for the house for all occasions and wish milwaukee would release bigger ones for work haha. in the shop electric but anytime you're our and about, or even working inside the car getting scanner codes. gotta toss a fan in the passengers seat.

My old Nissans, Saabs, and BMWs could all lower windows with the factory remote, as some examples. GM is forever behind on common-sense.

20+ years is 2004 and prior. Maybe fancy European vehicles did it back then, but definitely NOT the norm or "standard" for most vehicles, lol

The 2002 Nissan Altima I have will roll down all of the windows if you hold the unlock button for more than 5 seconds.
Comes in handy to air out the car before getting in.
Holding down lock does not roll them up but putting the key in the driver's door, turning it to the lock position and holding it will roll up all windows.

I'm sure someone has posted it before, but how do you get those informations to display on the dashboard?
It's a OBD2 unit.

That's neat, but $$$. I would like the windows functions that have been standard in cars from over 20 years ago. (all windows down with remote, auto-up, etc...)
I've been using that with this Hot weather. Roll em down as I walk to the office to clock out ...cools off to ambient By the time I get in.

additional favorite Autosync functions
------------------------------------------

disable auto door locks!
remote unlock all doors (1 press)
remote open/close windows
retained accessory power (I can still close my windows after opening the door!)
manual exit lighting (flash high beams after door is open)
custom approach/exit lighting (park/rev/high/low/fog)
other lighting customizations (timeouts, brightness, etc)
disable auto headlamps

favorites I never use
------------------------

manual high idle
emergency flashers
extend remote start run time (10min -> 20 min)
...I really need to read up on mine ... Forgot it could do all that...I just use it for the ethanol % mostly, and the remote windows.

I didn't say it was unheard of back then, just that it wasn't standard or common on many vehicles.

getting a new passenger side cat put on tomorrow curious to find out if it is clogged or burnt up, would explain a lot......
my 6.2 feels crippled
muffler shop said even if the cat was clogged it's probably not my issue o'well it was worth a shot needed a cat anyway

Are you stuck with OEM cats, or can you go aftermarket?
i have aftermarket on there already they just do not last long, maybe a year for the cheap ones, the more expensive ones 2-3 years
I have been looking for a used oem y pipe but no luck yet, a new oem y pipe is like $3k or close to it.
has to be for a 6.2l.
not sure why it is illegal to sell a used cat, I might have to go hit some of the yards in sacramento and see if a yard would sell me a y pipe on the under..... since the metal prices have tanked for recylcling cat's recently.
