I'm trying my best not to break something...
I didn't think that way messed anything up. I can't remember exactly, but it's apparently easy to stick like a coat hanger or something past the weather seal below the latch and push the latch far enough to release.

Thought I’d share some info I just came across. There’s a company called BT Dieselworks that offers BCM flashing via Autocal if you have one or they loan out a programmer. Their service includes what White Electronics used to do if you sent them your BCM. They also sell something called AutoSync that is a plug-n-play device that offers a bunch of other options. Between the 2 you can change a whole lot of things including disabling TPMS, DRL options or disabling, hyperflash elimination, extend remote start run times, turn signal lane change to 4-5 blinks instead of 3, even a launch control for you fast mofos that will hold the brakes until a pre-set RPM is reached. Spend some money and have some fun. I ordered a BCM flash via Autocal to eliminate my hyperflash problem, eliminate DRL and extend my remote start times.

That’s awesome!

Drive to Alabama today. Not happy with my tire balancing from belle tire. Get around 80+ and I feel some shimmies. Tires are year old and rotated every oil change and look like even wear.

with a tru-cool 40k, without it would have been 220deg easy

I noticed on my first long trip I hit 207. Got around 89 and humid. But the rear is packed with all our luggage. And I drove around 90 and hills. What temp should I start worrying.

Cleaned the TB ..... it was filthy....

Still going through idle relearn....

Picture doesn't show how filthy it was...

did my a few months ago. It took awhile for the idle to relearn. Scared me for a day.

Got the new batteries installed and I was able to piggyback the 2nd battery ground to the factory ground for the main battery so both are connected to the RVC I'm happy truck is happy, haven't seen it sit at 14v in forever

I have no experience with or opinion on the one you posted but if you want protection without it being intrusive I would suggest clear bra.
Agreed. With that Weathertech I see dirt and crap getting trapped between it and the hood with no way to clean under it so it eventually grinds your paint off.

I have just been watching a video on that. Asked the wife if she thought we could do it ourselves. We don’t think we want to attempt it. I may look for someone to do it for me.

How did you piggy back the RVC? My dual battery setup keeps me around 14V until the cooling fans come on high while my cooled seats are on. Then it's down to around 12V

I had a 7' ground cable made and connected both battery's together, I assume because these are both new battery's that they are working 100% which is why it is staying at 14v or above I just drove it a couple miles since then, I think one of my old batteries is borderline no good the fans seemed to be putting a strain on the system and I have been having a problem with my old batteries holding a load after a couple of minutes with the key on it would tell me low battery but would always start fine the California heat just kills battery's I am going to take the old ones tomorrow or monday to be tested where I bought them and I bet they replace at least one of them

Just have a body shop apply it. They do a lot of it.

I am not sure I am sold on it yet. I would like to look at an install on another vehicle.

There was a member on here that tried to take that ‘stick to the hood kind’ off and it peeled the paint but I think his was on from new, the previous owner.

clear bra, many tint shops do it since it’s like applying tint.

I have the stand-off kind on my hoe and I clear bra’ed the yukon. The standoff is hard to see with the truck being black until you’re on top of the truck.

I hope this solves it for ya doubie. I don’t know why your truck doesn’t like the rvc... mine is still going strong...... (I just gave it the kiss of death now)
