Mine has no external cooler. Would it be worth me adding one even though I’m not planning on towing?
if you drive like a normal sane person you probably don't need one, but...heat kills I would rather spend the $100 and a hour or two of my time to maybe get some extra life out of the transmission that cost upwards of $3500 to replace. kind of like a little self created-insurance policy. I have trashed transmissions in the past I figure any little bit can help.

My problem is finding the time to do it... I’ve got a trunk full of parts and just haven’t found the time to install em all yet. I have led headlights, sway bar end links for the rear, sway bar bushings for both, plugs and wires, belts and hoses, antifreeze, thermostat, braided stainless brake lines and fluid, Interior door handles, trans fluid, forward accumulators, hd separator plate, torlon check balls, corvette servo, 4th gear servo, amsoil and filter, Z71 springs, just gotta find the time to get em in...

I was an auto tech for years, Ford machinist for a couple years, NHRA teams out of Memphis, Lockheed Martin Electrical Tech, now I’m in Field Calibration. My company does truck scales primarily but have transitioned into Lab equipment and working on 17025 accreditation and I’m moving into taking over supervisory responsibilities so hopefully I can start working office hours instead of 12 hr days...

Thought I’d share some info I just came across. There’s a company called BT Dieselworks that offers BCM flashing via Autocal if you have one or they loan out a programmer. Their service includes what White Electronics used to do if you sent them your BCM. They also sell something called AutoSync that is a plug-n-play device that offers a bunch of other options. Between the 2 you can change a whole lot of things including disabling TPMS, DRL options or disabling, hyperflash elimination, extend remote start run times, turn signal lane change to 4-5 blinks instead of 3, even a launch control for you fast mofos that will hold the brakes until a pre-set RPM is reached. Spend some money and have some fun. I ordered a BCM flash via Autocal to eliminate my hyperflash problem, eliminate DRL and extend my remote start times.
