Yeah, but dem clamps doe.... lol

Clamps are relatively cheap... use whatever you like... worm gears have been in use for a very long time. I understand the argument of them cutting into the hose but in all reality the coolant system runs less than 20psi so there is no need to overtighten the clamps... you could probably run without clamps and with the barbs they probably wouldn't blow off... lol

If I were that worried I would get sleeved clamps.

Bad news, cant wait for the oem part to come in. So i went across the street to the oriley and got the dorman version.

Just make sure to order the OEM T’s and replace those POS Dorman ones or you’ll be broke down on the side of the road in no time. That way you’ll be good for another 150k. There’s tons of guys who put Dorman T’s on just to have them break in months. OEM are generally good for 10 years. The hose itself with it’s quick connect will probably be OK, I’ve never heard of them breaking.

Installing new Moog endlinks K700538.

Going to check and make sure the correct part number but that other bushing has zero space to slide in the spacer before passing through the control arm.

Truck is jacked up with both front wheels off the the ground. Hmmm...??

Exact same set up on my Tahoe. What am I missing here?

Edit: checked part number and application for 2007-2014. Sleeve length shows 3.4 inches.

Have to do both sides at once so the sway bar can move freely.

After a trip to the dealership. I got the right part. The part and 2 gallons of coolant later(cause it was everywhere), im done

I did mine with the front wheels on ramps. I removed both sides which allowed the sway bar end to rotate up/down. I installed the new endlinks up from the bottom and used the barrel nut end on the top.

I copied this method, and worked a treat..

Now my inside smells like burning coolant fluid, should disappear after a few days. I just want to say thanks fellas for all the tips. I wouldnt have a clue where to start with this
Go to one of those self car washes with the power wand, pop the hood spray the engine compartment out and the undercarriage that will help get rid of the smell faster

I discussed this in the PPV forum but it’s estimated my work Tahoe idles 16hrs a day (at least) for 365 days for 7 years = 41,000 engine hours. IIRC it has like 50k
Miles (I should know this as I supposedly do a daily “inspection”). My 2009 personal vehicle is at 118,000 miles and 3400 hours or so. So roughly speaking the Police Tahoe has 10 times the engine run time of my family truckster that is 3 years older.
