A few things...

1. She turned over 175k on Friday
2. Replaced her battery
3. Installed a new head unit because my other Pioneer went belly up
4. Through some help with troubleshooting with @Yuko04 i found out my chime module is going bad so I'll be ordering a new one of those soon and redoing my radio harness soon.

Otherwise she's running strong and should make 300k and more without a problem. Ready for the next road trip in September.

I have a extra nnbs chimed harness module since I went with Maestro route. $30 shipped.

I would have sold you my Pioneer 4700bs for a helluva deal.

From what I'm reading that chime harness won't work with the Bose system. True or not true?

The angle and where it mounts. Looks like it will go perfect with my supercharger

My wife and I just installed new headlight housings w/ Sylvania ZXE high & low bulbs, Diode Dynamics LED DRL & rear plate bulbs and the Derale 8000 series trans fluid cooler. Having fun with our new toy :)

Removed the third-row seats in preparation for all the gear we'll load for family vacation.
Those fukkers are heavy.

Bought my lift kit yesterday and it shipped today! Should be here sometime next week, and I'm so excited to tackle this install with my brother. I'll make a thread the day it arrives showing all the parts and hopefully provide some insight to installing a lift kit yourself, while also answering peoples questions. Maybe then I'll be able to give answers on this forum instead of asking questions :happy107:

Your Burb is my inspiration whenever someone gives me crap for buying/owning a "high mileage" vehicle (bought mine at 115k, now has 121k).

I don't consider it "high mileage" until around 160K. For some reason, 150K to me is just "meh". But 10K more and higher and it's a dead man walking. It's all in my head, though. These things turn 200K+ like it's nothing, especially the pre-AFM models.

Oh- to contribute to the thread:
I installed the smoked license plate cover I got from Amazon for $6. I really like it. I think the curved "bubble" style would've looked too cheap and dated. Had to trim the plate all around the border to make it fit inside. I stole the snazzy stainless pan head screws off of my work van:

It's all in how the vehicle has been maintained and cared for over the lifetime of the vehicle. That's the largest contributing factor IMO but most see the number and freak out cuz they assume a vehicle they consider high mileage or "old" is a heap and that's not true :)

I agree, I had a 2000 Tahoe LT I traded for my 07 LS. It had 206000 when I traded it. It ran perfect like a dream also.

At this point in my life I'd have a hard time trading in anything that was running perfect regardless of mileage. At 200k, I'm pretty much going for broke unless someone offers to buy it and I just can't refuse the offer lol

I feel you brother, it was a bitter sweet decision for me man. I loved my truck, but always wanted the gmt 900 body style, an 07 with 91,000. When I went to look at it, it was in like new condition, very well taken care of. It was only $12999. I had to do it
