I got the part and the screw out and out a put a new sensor in and the relearn went like clockwork so all good now.

It was last June. I could have bumped it remounting the tire. I'm not the Cinderella dancer I used to be. All good for now though. I bought a full set of sensors so I have some spares now if I need them.
Glad you found it. One would assume the sensor was there and dead not awol inside the tire.

Pro pro tip: clean the old leather with Foaming Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and a stiff brush, the Seat Shop has a video on it. And a steam cleaner with an added rubber hose on the end inserted into the area where the wrinkles are and shot with a few puffs will fluff up the foam more and no more wrinkles. Don’t hit it too hard with steam though or the cover will get damaged. I did all new Katzkins in my Silverado and the steamer was a must.
Thanks for this. Going to give it a try on the rest of the seats on Monday.

A new, quality drivers seat foam and new leather cover are the best upgrades I’ve made to this thing. It feels like a new truck.

Finally rotated the tires, saw the rear diff cover is wet, so I guess I need to look into that.
Did a bit of driving and finally rolled over 170k.

Cleaned throttle body and MAF at 247k miles. Last cleaned around 150k and didn't remove throttle last time. I did open the flap a bit to fit toothbrush for cleaning but no relearn process needed.
doesn't look too bad I saw one once with about a 1/4" of caked on carbon it was unbelievable but also in the junkyard lol

I gotta capture mine next time I go over to get fireworks and hit about 8600ft, 4 hr drive each way
that's also where we go up to the snow and play the road is closed a couple miles past there until the snow melts
Beautiful country up there
"Ebbetts Pass is one of the least traveled passes in the Sierra Nevada. A 23-mile stretch between Lake Alpine and Centerville Flat is less than two lanes, and lacks a dividing line between them.[9] It has very steep sections with hairpin corners.[10] The eastern slope is particularly difficult, as many of the hairpin corners are blind, and steepen suddenly at the apex, making it necessary to shift to first gear in most vehicles. It is rarely used by commercial traffic and is not recommended for vehicles towing long trailers.[11] Furthermore, the pass usually closes during the winter months, often from November through as late as May"

this is only at about 4000ft and the snow is anywhere from 8-16ft deep

Plastidipped the 'TAHOE' badges on the doors, wanted to see if I'd like it enough to order some proper black emblems, and Ive decided that black emblems are in the future. The good news is the dip was having a hard time sticking with the ceramic coating on it haha. also painters tape didnt want to stick either.
