lol, what about the other plate![]()
So I have the opportunity to buy a 07 Denali with 172,000 miles for $7,000. It's got the 6.2 engine, AWD, navigation, rear entertainment, black leather with rear capitan seats, and heated steering wheel and seats.. I'm fairly sure it's a good deal but could I get some reassurance?
Price seems ok. Remember 07 has the 4 speed transmission.
he does some extra stuff in this that wont apply to me, i'm just going to change the gearSend me the video doubie
I have a + - on my shifter too but it does nothing lol.it's a 6 you can see the +/- on the shifter
get a Euro plate I seen a few cars with themHaha didn't even notice that
The 6 speed, AWD, and the bigger engine are the only reasons I'm wanting to upgrade but if my thoughts on the 6 speed are wrong I might not pull the trigger.
Please check the sticker on the inside of glovebox and look at codes. I thought the 6 speed came out later but I may be wrong.
Get it, get it for less if you can. Give it a good once or twice over and operate every switch, knob and lever.
All the Yukon Denalis of this generation have the 6L80. All of the 2007s are AWD.
never heard of thisDo the early (07-08) 6 speeds have issues in the Denali like they did in the 2500’s?
What particular issues are you referring too?Do the early (07-08) 6 speeds have issues in the Denali like they did in the 2500’s?
Those are known issue's in general with the 6l80 never heard of it being associated with any particular yearsPump issues which led to harsh shifts. They updated in I believe 09-10, somewhere in there. They also have converter issues and pressure control solenoids fail with decent mileage.
Considering they updated the pump I’d say the earlier ones had an issue newer ones do not (mechanically not in the tune). There was also a TSB for clutch seal rolling/leaking on the earlier ones and was supposedly the cause for flare ups/hard shifts. Those are known issue's in general with the 6l80 never heard of it being associated with any particular years

07 was the split between nnbs and classics. HD gassers got 6l80’s.The 2500 wagons in 2007 had the 4L80. They got the 6L90 the next year. Don't remember about the HD Pickups.
must be so then I just was told it was the common problem, when I was shopping for mine I completely skipped 07-09 and concentrated on the 2010's+ mostly because of wider range of parts compatibility later on down the road.07 was the split between nnbs and classics. HD gassers got 6l80’s.
I was asking about the 07-08 Denali’s that got the 6l80 but then I was told I was wrong so.
