Yesterday i got the rear evaporator changed. Not to bad a job really. You don't need to remove the entire unit
It is in two pieces held together with clips. Underneath there is just 1 stud you need to remove a nut from. Took about two hours start to finish. Added about 1/2oz of PAG oil also.
After vacuum test filled it with the required 48oz of r134A
Idling in the driveway, temp was 39.4f with front and rear on high and outside temp was 83F
Hoping i fixed the leak.

You're welcome, Joseph.
Nick,
I hope alll is good, i can’t direct message you yet so forgive me for intruding but I have been having some slipping issues with the 2017 PPV Tahoe, and some hard shifts looking to see what you think I need to do. I would like to have it done close to home, so I wouldn’t have to drive it down to Tucson. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Likewise, hope all is well with you also. My PMs are turned off so that folks don't ask me tech questions in PM as it is duplicative for me and defeats the purpose of having an open forum in the first place.

Can't really suggest anything until I have more details such as mileage on the transmission, length of time the symptoms have been going on, any specifics about them (i.e. they only occur when cold or when hot, etc) along with what diagnostics and/or trouble shooting you may have already done along with the results of the diag/TS efforts.

Let me know on the above and we can go from there.

So it's been doing it for about two years, the car has 167k on the clock(it is a PPV) when I'm on the high at a steady speed, its goodin town it slips in and out not all the time but from time to time it also does it hot and cold if I remember correctly. No trouble shooting at all me and transmissions have a bad relationship

Add @NickTransmissions to each reply to him, so that he knows to that you replied and to look at it. Otherwise, he does not know that you replied to his question, and he won't be searching for it on his own.

My guess is your pump's pressure regulator valve is beginning to wear; the TC is also likely on borrowed time. I would start planning for a rebuild sometime w/in the next few thousand miles or so as symptoms worsen.

This morning, I discovered I wasn't just imagining that I was perceiving a binding after coming to a complete stop and then starting off in 1st gear.

I was researching a different subject and ran across a recent post in the "6L80E TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS, CAUSES & FIXES" Facebook group where someone had asked about this. I wasn't surprised to see @NickTransmissions had replied, and that it was likely a leak from the clutch for 1st into the 3/5/R clutch. Oh, goodie.

Now I'm gonna see if I can use HP Tuners to make it start in 2nd for the time being. Apparently, there's a "snow mode" for other vehicles with the 6L80E that does just that.

Mini Heart Attack. Went to remote start and CEL was on so it didnt turn on. NBD It happens cuz of Exhaust leak.

But after starting it normally the AC wasnt working even though the snowflake was on and no error codes.

Got home and started yukon normally and AC was working. I love GM...
