2003 Yukon XL Denali.

I have a bad heater hose connector and ordered a complete set to replace them all. I took the engine cover off for better access against the firewall and discovered these loose wires. They are bundled up with the fuel injector wires.

Any one have an idea what these are and what is not on this Yukon that once was? :D
I googled engine bay pics and cannot see what it should be connected to.

Just below the wires in the first pic, at that connector, is that from the factory or has someone rewrapped those wires?

Mystery solved and a new one added.

The wires are supposed to go to the throttle body, as they are on my 2500HD, like this...

The Yukon appears to have had the throttle body replaced and new wires run to the firewall?

Why would someone do that? Perhaps the OEM wires have a break or issue and a new wire run to bypass the break? You can see the OEM wires to the left out of the loom.

My **** side wants to fix it, but everything works correctly.

It’s verh possible. They are cut at the ECM and TB? If they are, I’d remove them

I will not try and remove them, they are wrapped up with the Injector wires, but I will seal off the ends, tape them up and place back in the loom.
