I'd like to beat a designer and engineer to death... I'd love for just once these retards would have to work on the stuff they design... #8 plug is a pita...
Cabin air filter installed... why do they give you a 1/4 inch headed screw in the kit when all the rest of the screws in the truck are metric...
Next time I'm at the junkyard I'm gonna grab a different screw that matches... otherwise it will drive me nuts...That baffles me as well.
I’ve scolded engineers that work for me when they use both metric and SAE hardware on a machine. The best is when a young engineer calls for a tapped hole on a round spacer for a M6 bolt (10mm wrench) and then put 3/8” wrench flats on the spacer.

It's super simple with the right tools... which I left at work and had to improvise...More information on this cabin filter retrofit? Thanks!
I have ole #8 down to a 10 minute process plug and wire
So this came in the mail today... looks like a trip to the store is in order... need some hose and some threadlocker...

Been there done that... the forgiveness meter is probably close to empty...Better to ask forgiveness than permission, I was taught.
Then again, I'm divorced. Lol.
