I'd like to beat a designer and engineer to death... I'd love for just once these retards would have to work on the stuff they design... #8 plug is a pita...

Forgot to bring the hot knife home from work so the cabin filter will have wait til tomorrow and other means...

Cabin air filter installed... why do they give you a 1/4 inch headed screw in the kit when all the rest of the screws in the truck are metric...

That baffles me as well.

I’ve scolded engineers that work for me when they use both metric and SAE hardware on a machine. The best is when a young engineer calls for a tapped hole on a round spacer for a M6 bolt (10mm wrench) and then put 3/8” wrench flats on the spacer.

Next time I'm at the junkyard I'm gonna grab a different screw that matches... otherwise it will drive me nuts...

That's usually about the time I start throwing things.
