I would like more storage for larger things - i.e. I’d like to carry a Milwaukee M12 inflator for flat tires, inflating sports balls, inner-tubes, etc. If they made the fuse service panel twice as wide on the driver side, there’s plenty of dead space back there that’s not being utilized.

Yes, I've seen that posted in another thread. We are saying that it should be a setting in the vehicle that you can disable. You shouldn't have to add a wire harness to disable auto start.
This is definitely one thing i love about the PPV’s:: autostop disabled from the factory.

I would like the Connected Camera feature that was marked before production to be active on all 2025 Tahoe/Yukon/and Escalades to actually be functioning. This idea "its coming in a future software update" is getting old. I normally install a DashCam but didn't buy one as they clearly stated the PVR feature of the Surround Vision System was better.

What does this mean from the owner's perspective? You'd be able to connect to the vehicle to download the camera footage from the front camera?

The system acts as a 360 Surround Camera DVR/PVR like Tesla does. It will record all cameras and then you store them on an SD card thats located in the drivers rear 1/4 next to the fuse block. In my manual it says if I connect a USB to the console port I get PVR functionality but its apparently not available yet.

The connected camera feature is this:

There is a camera inside? I didn't know that.

Well thats another issue, there is supposed to be one in the overhead console but mine isn't there, its in a few 25 Escalades I have seen but no Tahoe's so far. Possibly an option not available for Tahoe at first production like Super Cruise. I'm trying to determine if I can retrofit as the wiring is likely there.

I wonder if this "update" will end up like the post-covid commitment/promise of adding chips to vehicles that shipped without features activated (heated seats); my assumption is hardly anyone had chips installed and eventually stopped expecting them.

Hopefully this update doesn't end up as another perennial "it's coming" promise.

My feature wish list items for 2027 model year would be a Sound System refresh.

The High Country is the top trim on the Chevrolet side, it has a 10 speaker Bose system, no difference to offerings at. the lower trims.

Denali and Escalade have significantly better systems but the jump is huge.

The Tahoe High Country needs something in between the current 10 Speaker system and the Denali/Escalade 38 Speaker AKG Dolby Atmos system.

The Denali 19 Speaker system by Bose would be around the right level.

Isn’t the Denali also 10 speaker? Unless you mean Denali Ultimate?

38 speakers? Where are all these speakers located?

Maybe I'm just not much of a music guy, but I'm fine with the system in the 2025 HC. I'm not saying it's the best system I've ever heard, but it's fine for my needs.

If the better system was included with the current pricing, that's fine, but if it adds an extra $1500-$2000 then I'm not interested.

I searched for a long time to look for a HC that did NOT have the rear screens. First, I think they look bad, the design was not great. Second, the add-on was $2000+ and I don't need the rear screens.

I'd rather see other options (over sound) like integrated front and rear cameras that can be recorded onto a local memory card and the owner of the vehicle can view and download/save clips as needed (w/o a subscription).

While I'm not a fan of Tesla's designs (interior and exterior) Elon absolutely nailed the technology/features. That being said, maybe there is a subscription add-on for those things, I'm not sure. I'm not talking about self driving.

I concur!

The sound system in the High Country is pretty good for “passive listening” in my experience. Unless you’re an audiophile that Bose system is plenty of speakers and the equalizer can get great sound quality for most of us.

Also I agree with the rear screen system, if you have kids and or rear passengers frequently it might be better to have iPad or other devices stored in the rear pockets. Mounted to back of the front seats doesn’t look good and limits what you can store in the rear seat area.
iPad and similar devices are getting better and cheaper so if you plan on keeping the vehicle for longer than 5 years it is better and cheaper to just replace the devices instead of paying the premium for the feature and having it obsolete in a couple years.

A setting to control the function of the EPB to be only manual, defeat the unpredictable automatic function if desired.
Continue to play the selected album instead of going random/sequential with each ignition restart from a USB source.
Not require the panoramic glass roof as part of HC Deluxe package.
A less arcane/complex manipulation of the stalk to set the auto high beam.

I'd like the ability to lower the vehicle to enter/exit height at all times, I like how it looks better with a slight drop vs the ride height it adjusts to when you start driving.

Isn’t that adaptive air ride?

Yeah it has air ride but you can’t drive at the lowest setting.
You can -- just not over 8 mph (I think that's the cut off... Or maybe it's 15...). VERY helpful to be able to drive slowly in the lowest setting for low-clearance parking garages...

Just a point of clarification.

Yup, fair, but I stated this, earlier in the convo

"I'd like the ability to lower the vehicle to enter/exit height at all times" so I was commenting on the 'at all times' part. Also, they do make kits that allow you to lower the sensors so the vehicle thinks it needs to drop because it is not at the correct level, but I'm simply talking about 'stock' things that I'd like to see changed, nothing related to aftermarket add-ons/modifications/etc.
