Well it only gets driven in nice weather so hopefully there won't be gravel on the road like in the winter. So far so good though. If it starts getting them I'll look into a clear protection.

That's what I mean... That's why I'm sticking with my current bumper

My HD front bumper had to be painted to be painted two times before 6k miles on the white truck. I rarely drove it.

I don't really see why the shape of a bumper would determine if the rocks that hit it would chip it. Driving slammed would make a difference I guess though. But I've seen rocks bounce and they don't necessarily stay low, they bounce high too. We don't use gravel on our roads unless it snows, and then they sweep it up right after. We got one light snow dusting this year and they didn't use it once. I will keep an eye on it though.

Great mechanical attention to detail and problem (solving) chasing just like the Denali. Great to see and read. Keep up the good work!

I was out the other night and even though I had reinstalled the air gauge light, I had a hard time seeing it because it was dim. That gauge is important- I like to air down when I'm on the freeway or a long stretch of road where I am not making any sharp turns and I need to know when I'm at 40 rear/ 80 front so I'm riding at about 2" off the pavement. I don't know why I didn't think of an LED in the damn thing before, but tonight I found one that fit. I have about every size there is in my arsenal. Lit that gauge up like a mofo. That combined with the correct repair to my HVAC buttons and that area looks way better at night. The best mods are the free mods.

Looks mo better. Is it angled towards you any? It looks straight. Maybe you could get something along the lines of this, but a single one (or cut this in half and have a spare) and epoxy or fiberglass it into place:

You could even orient it so it's angled upward so the gauge is pointing directly at your face.

That's a good idea, I'll look into it.

Found these Autometer angled mounting rings. They come in a 3-pack so if anybody else out there needs one let me know. These are for 2 1/16" gauges and are made for exactly this purpose.

Go with an Air Lift 3H :imo: Pressures are too inaccurate.
I don't need it exact. Some day I'll end up buying a complete Accuair E-level air management system with ride height sensors but until then my setup is fine.

I would buy the Air Lift before AccuAir :imo: I have had both and worked with both and, so far, the Air Lift is far less problematic.

I tried using a switch box on the caddy when I got it and hated it after having self-leveling kits for so long.
