So I went back and bought a pair of RE-7's and installed them but before I did, I texted the PO and asked him if he had been running 8" bags for long and he said no, he just changed to them before I bought it- he had been running 7's but wanted bags that could hold more weight even though the 7's were working fine. And obviously he didn't fully inflate them to check if they cleared. Stupid move. I'm just so glad that didn't happen on the 650 mile drive from San Francisco to Portland. I was so lucky, and the fact that I drove it almost the whole way at about 60 psi in the front is all that saved me. The passenger side was ready to blow too, here it is. And here's a pic of the RE-7's at 180 psi. Also, at full height I'm fine; full turn capability with the 26's.

You may want to spend a little time just going over everything, take a break, then go back over it...

Yessir agreed. But also, since The Beast is down this is my only transportation right now. But I only have short trips around town and I'm off work. I just got my smoke machine so I can check for intake/vacuum leaks on it. I still think the blower needs to come off and be reinstalled again. Don't ever buy a Whipple. It's a stupid install, so hard to get to the bolts, and get them tightened down.

My first major trip in the caddy I popped an air line, took me a year to fix it, lol. I still want to go through it but never do.

Glad you found the issue. I knew something had happened to get the bag to pop. Enjoy daily driving it until the denali is back.

Super sweet, Red. Gotta do something with that bowtie, though. The gold doesn't fly. How's the cutoff pattern now? And can I get a witness on those demons with some colors in the dark?

Here's the cutoff at ride height . The demon eye pics will have to wait, it just started pouring. I was relieved that the projectors stayed perfectly level after epoxying them in place.View attachment 194825

Not knocking it, because they look great but isn't the lower portion of the right headlight's cutoff line supposed to be even with the upper portion of the left headlight's cutoff line?

I guess what I'm saying is I think your right headlight needs to be adjusted up a little bit.... but I could be wrong. I thought that the right is supposed to be a little higher to help light up road signs.

Actually no. Both lights have the same pattern where they have a higher line on the right half and a line that's lower on the left half. If you look closely in the center, to the right side of the round thing ( that's my hose real) you can barely see the left, lower line of the right headlight where it blends into the higher line of the left headlight. The higher lines are the same height as well as the lower lines. I thought the same as you but I ended up with 3 different heights with a stairstep from highest on the far right to lowest on the far left.

Wait a minute.... Why not just dip it ?

I do not do dip. Absolutely hate that stuff. To me it's a cheap ass way to do a half ass job that's not even permanent, doesn't wash well, and looks like plastic dip. I can spot the stuff a mile away. Does that answer that question?

I was under the impression that the stair step was proper and to me makes more sense.... as I stated previously for road signs.

Low on the left for oncoming traffic gradually getting higher on the right for signage... oh well guess I was wrong.
