You know, I've had a talk with some of the other guys on the forum here and we all agree... you really need to find something to do with your time instead of just sitting around being lazy... you would be surprised at how much you could accomplish if you just set your mind on something and just got up and did it. ;)

SprayMax 2k, it’s a 2-part in a can. Once you hit the mix button you have like 24 hours to use the can.
Only stuff I use . Half the time you don’t need to wet sand after. I usually still do but that stuff lays down smooth as glass.

I thought about painting the interior shroud of the cluster but since I replaced the clear lens last year and it’s glued down with VHB tape, i decided to leave it alone. I would have to remove the lens to paint that part. I did pull the rear board off and add 2 layers of blue tint to the PRNDL display so it’s not so green. Thanks for the tint @iamdub. It took me awhile but I finally got it done.

Well fuuuck. I just broke the damn trans again. I feel like @randeez except his is his motor. It hit second gear under heavy boost and I felt something break. Reverse still works. I talked to Performabuilt and I’m gonna upgrade from the Level 3 to the Black Edition. I’m sick of this shit. This one better last. They say it’s unbreakable. For a $5k transmission it better be. Now I need to get the bed on The Machine so I can drive it. Good thing I’m laid off.

Quit locking it up wot. Can any of the parts you already have go into the new build?

Also last time I pulled engine the center pilot of converter wanted to stay in the flex plate , so I lifted the trans by a half way pulled out converter. May have ****** the pump up again. Need to find a trans place that an bench test (dyno) it

The Black Edition is rated for 1000 HP but I might just have to change the way I drive. It’s the weight and the AWD combined with a bit of power. It’s ******* transmissions and I am trying to avoid the hassle of converting to an 80 with my transfer case, so I’ll give the Black Edition a try, and if I break it I’ll convert.

I'm sure this has been discussed before but why not just 4L80 swap? Would cost less and hold the power better.

Edit: Just saw the new post. Gotcha the AWD T case swap is more difficult. But man I think it might be cheaper now than a 5k 4l60

The Black Edition will be an upgrade so I only pay the difference between what I paid originally plus it comes with a new 2 year warranty but I’d better not need that. Mine is still under warranty so I could get it fixed for free but I already did that once.

They really do a good job with their warranty! That's very impressive they will upgrade you just for the cost of the parts!
