I did some trading for this 93 a few months back. I have a Belltech 4-5/6 lowering kit in the garage that needs to go on.

And speaking of STS just picked up this V6 STS for cheap for my son’s first car.

What a difference wheels can make. What happened to the newer headlights?

Right! Wheels make all the difference! I have the same amount in the wheels as I do in the truck. Lol. The lights we for a 94+ and hit the core support. I wanted to go back stock and embrace the original patina.

I had no idea a caddy was so cool. Rwd/AWD, 40/60 Split? I'd def drive that, and I'm not a caddy guy. I've seen the XLR in person. I don't like it--just me tho.
Gonna check those STS-V prices!

Why did it end up in the junk yard? Did it still have the drivetrain, or did you strip it 1st? Sad.

I just meant if you could even find one in a junk yard they would still bring good money.

To be honest, they're actually dirt cheap. They're one of those unknown hidden gems. New, I think mine stickered for around $83k in 2006. No one looking for top tier luxury/performance wanted a Cadillac (just because of their reputation). It's BMW, Benz, Audi, etc. So most STS-V's ended up being leases, GM and other lease companies took it on the chin and then when they came of lease, they were dirt cheap. I picked this one up in 2010 with 32k on the odometer, Cadillac certified with GMPP, new tires, new brakes for $27k. Right about now, a decent one is mid teens, maybe pushing $20k if it's a 2009.

But this thing is such a sleeper. Kinda a Jekyll and Hyde thing. It is a quiet, comfortable, smooth luxury sedan, then when you need to, you smash the throttle and the car explodes in an insane mode bursting forward in a blaze of speed. And oooohhhh, the glorious blower whine. This M122 is loud when it's uncorked. I have some vids of it on my YouTube channel that I will have to post. One with me doing 15 - 20 mph, mashing it and blowing the tires out from under it. :D

OH HELL YEAH!! Love it. After reading your thread about it, I had to look up a few. Prices aren't terrible. Hopefully it'll be my next sleeper--one day. Love sleepers. I've had a few 3rd gen Formulas with the 350's, Tbird SC, Typhoon, GN--Just gave that to my son--I love the whole concept of stealthy. That's why I did my Tahoe. No SC, but it's decent for what it is.

Thank you. Yes sir, I do. Have her sitting in my garage. Has original interior. Have a full interior kit for it sitting in the dining room. This working all the time really cuts in to the mod schedule. Doesn't help when I also have to split the available time with the rest of the toys. LOL

I have one new door panel. Still looking and waiting for a good driver's side. These things are notorious for cheesy door panels. Hence the bezel upgrade which quickly snowballed into a more involved effort.

Yes. Had some god-awful 22's when I got it. These are 20's from a charger.

Here's a good pic of them lined up

Here is the white one that was at the end;

If the 2nd from the right--blue one--is the original color, that's one of the rarest Ty colors. Aspen blue, maybe 2 were built? Def less then 5.
I had one exactly like this.

Teal, which was a pretty rare color. I couldn't hide for shit with it!
