Hey all.

Just picked up my 2019 Yukon XL SLT a couple of weeks ago, so thought I'd post up a couple of pics as an intro. Really enjoying the new dad wagon!

Welcome to the forum from Oregon. More pics please. Nice looking rig.

Where in KC, Mo? I am originally from north of the river in Gladstone and I still have a brother back there in Parkville. High school for me in Excelsior Springs.

Hopefully the salt has not attacked that rig yet and you can keep it cleaned off.

Thanks!

I'm in Shawnee. Yeah, I'm going to have to keep up on the undercarriage for sure. I'll get more photos in the next few days. Waiting on pair of backordered amp steps and a few odds and ends

Heck yea man that is a killer setup! Always wondered how it would look, but have never seen it!

Any rubbing issues? Looks like you have spacers for the wheels...what size?

More pics please!

No spacers, but the OEM 22s definitely stick out a bit (I actually really like the look). Definitely needs some more trimming of the front bumper/valence, and most likely a slight norcal mod in the back of the front wheel wells. I'm digging into that on Friday and will post pics of what I trim and mod.

Just waiting on AMP power steps. Ordered those about 3 weeks ago but they are on back order. After that will just drive it.

Few more pics, nothing new really:

So nice, I love it!

But, when you say “OEM” wheels, are you referring to a brand, or actual factory wheels? There is just no way those are factory offset wheels with no spacers.

This pictures makes them look like they are sticking out a few inches further than factory 22’s...

No way those are “real oem 22”. GM doesn’t have a offset like that unless you have spacers

It’s definitely a good looking ride though I like it

my money would be on a 1.5" bolt on spacer...it is a very nice looking setup, but agreed the offset is not a GM offset ( could be factory wheel, but most likely has a spacer), could be a rep wheel.

Classic "bought not built" lol. You guys are most likely correct on the spacers. I'll find out tomorrow when I start taking things apart.

Let us know. Curious if the reproduction ones have that much less backspacing, or if those are true gm wheels with spacers.
I like it though!

Well, no wheel spacers, and they are an OE or at least OE replica. What I am finding is that I believe these 22" wheels are originally from the Silverado/Sierra platform, which have larger offset and backspacing. And that makes sense, because RC says cannot use stock wheels with their lift. The tricky part is what year wheels are they, since 2019+ had changes to caliper design. I've not been able to find these OE replicas with custom offset or BS.

Based on chart below, the 2019 Sierra 22s are +28mm offset with 6.10" backspacing, and Yukon/Tahoe are +24mm offset and 5.94" backspacing (though it stops at 2018 on this chart).

I'll be reaching out to the dealer I bought it from to ask for more details and will update.

Hmm. Well according to that info in the picture, the suv 22’s will actually stick out a little bit further than the truck wheels.

Most factory wheels I have seen have a manufacturer/size/offset stamped into them somewhere on the back side.

If those dont have spacers, I am guessing they are replica wheels that look just like the factory units, but have much less backspacing than the stock wheels.

Alright, was able to crawl around under the truck and get some things done. Pretty much disregard my previous post.

No spacers up front, but it does have spacers in the rear. Apparently pretty common for the lifts to push the front wheels out a bit. I completely forgot to throw a tape on the rear spacers (my brain works better in reverse), but looks like 1.5-2" (I can measure if anyone wants to know exact setup).

These wheels are the 22s with +24mm offset and 5.94" backspacing.

So that's figured out and you guys were exactly right.

Trimmed up the front bumper and valence a slight bit more, and ended up just having to pound back a small section of the rear part of the front wheel wells. Pics below.

Spacers:

Mark before I cut on driver side:

The dealer that put the lift on had trimmed just the valence a little. I carried it up the bumper a bit more at a longer angle, so the cut is not so obvious.

Came out good, and no more rubbing! 20201120_164613.jpg

Thanks for the update!

Hm. So the rc lift adds to the track width up front then somehow. Let us know what size spacers are out back sometime.
