The pushrods should be here this week, but I am thinking of just waiting for the torque converter to arrive before putting the engine back in. Why do the work twice?! I believe I'm still on track for the converter to ship around 2/12
Hell yeah I’d wait.
More time to paint those valve covers....

Still waiting on the converter. It shipped out, but the weather conditions are delaying delivery now. I'm getting impatient now, honestly, but I'm keeping all that in my head. In a few weeks, it will almost be 5 months since the hoe has been down.

That’s a long time to be without a hoe.... my condolences....
In all seriousness though that’s frustrating. I bitched about not having my Nali for the last day and a half and that’s nothing compared to 5 months....

October 17th is when I took it to the shop to replace just the cam...it blew up driving into the shop... Talk about good and bad timing of events.

I actually thought this too.
I saw a Fed-Ex tag trailer on its lid this morning along I-80 here in Iowa. Got some snow last night that turned the roads here to grease.
Any freezing rain? That’s what I hate, it’s so dangerous.
