For those looking for a SC upgrade as I am considering I have a coworker that was an engine builder for slp that did nothing but ls engines at the time for years until it was sold. He tells me unless your racing the vehicle the Magnuson is the way to go hands down. Very easy to do. He has done many. He told me he would install one on my 2011 tahoe for me. He said max of 4 hours time. But he has done a LOT of LS engine work so I imagine he's a little faster than the average joe

Do you guys know when oil pressure sensor filter was introduce? I can't fit one in my new non AFM valley cove. My guess is non AFM didn't have a filter or maybe was different?

I'm still using a filter, same part as the one from my Gen IV L92 6.2L... That was VVT but not DOD/AFM. I'm now using an iron block, LQ9 which is a Gen III block and still uses same sensor/screen.

the actual tube on new valley cover where you put the sensor is shorter about 1/2" which makes it impossible to screw it in with filter in place
