Im looking for a loud ass alarm siren because my the siren equipped with my viper 5901 is not cutting it. I have my air horn factored into the alarm too, yet i want a louder siren.

I used to run a 513t + normal siren in my convertible. it's louder, but mostly annoying once you are in the car. The main benefit was that it didn't sound like every other alarm. People actually looked and paid attention when it went off.

How loud does it really need to be?

Well I guess 120db is good enough. My air horn is plenty loud but for whatever reason if it may go out, I want the alarm siren to pick up the slack. So I ordered two of the mini piezo's. One for inside the cabin and another for under the hood.

im just wondering.. what about less thought on volume more on frequency.. 140db of ultra high frequency sine waves should def make them not even wanna be in the car.. plus be super audible

15 Are you serious? We used to do 3 or 4. Front, rear and deep in the dash for the ****** who got in the car.

Overkill maybe, but it ran the bastards off who tried to break into my truck one night. The alarm triggers all the sirens, factory horn, and two piezos inside the truck. It's crazy loud. They were all spare sirens just laying around in the garage that's been collecting throughout the years so I figured I use them. I have 6 on my Caddy:)

I just turned off the arm/disarm chirp in the programming.

How do you wire multiple sirens? Do I simply share the positive wire between them?

Sirens are cheap. You can get them from ebay from $ 5 up.

A standard 30amp relay (one side to alarm, constant power with inline fuse, ground, and siren positive)

sorry, not too good with relays. Can you tell me the numbers that go with the alarm, constant 12, ground and siren +?
