How to clean dried wax on black plastic trim?

To remove wax spots from the rough surfaced plastic trims, you can try to rub it away with a soft rubber/eraser. It's an easy and cheap way to deal with it. I'm not kiddin... It really works, have done it for several times by myself. greetz

+1 .... even with the older vehicles this is a great method to permanently remove the "white" from the black.

Temporary at best. Anything that you apply to hide a blemish will eventually come off.

If all else fails try duplicolor trim paint. It matches perfectly and it super easy to apply. I do all my fenders every 2 months or so.

The "paint" is more like a dye that has to be reapplied periodically.
