You have to put the anchor nuts up and then bolt down the middle bolt into the anchor nut. Then you set the cross rail on top of the anchor nuts on either side and then it slides back into the lock position on the anchor nut. It then is in the right spots for the forward and rear bolt slots.

I got that part. I just can’t seem to get the end caps to go in place. [emoji23][emoji2363]

They are a pain in the a$$ to put on, I had the same issue when I installed mine.
I loosened both ends and pulled outward while running screws back in. That’s all it took

Finally installed the Esky roof rack last night, I think it turned out okay.

You would need a rack from an Escalade. The SRX is mid-size SUV with a very different rack.

After reading the thread decided to head to the junk yard. Scored a whole set up for $20 bucks. Now to paint the caps white so they match.

Ended up having some white vinyl that matched pretty close. Wrapped the chrome portion and left the end caps black. I like the outcome. View attachment 458822View attachment 458823
It’s very different from the typical setup for them… and I like it!! I think it’s fits on your truck perfectly with the reversal of the color scheme on the rack!!
