Does any use a Fumoto oil pan drain valve?

Mercedes' OEM oil change procedure involves vacuuming the oil out from the top. I wonder how much they are able to exchange that way.
It's hard to say. But I'd speculate the difference is insignificant, or they wouldn't recommend it. If you think about it, some amount remains clinging to every surface inside the engine. You can't get it all.

Yes I know. The only way to be sure would be to remove the oil pan and see how much is "trapped" behind the fumoto threads.
