Ok, it’s the bulbs. I had two different types in there (to compare which is brighter), I swapped them around, and now the DRLs come on when parking lamp switch is on, but not the parking lamps.

Just need to order another set of the bulbs that work.

Given that they are LED, I should be able to get away with this connection set up, ya? No relay required?
Yep should be fine.

Lights all in.

The side marker lights flash simultaneously with the turns signals (not alternatively), which I don’t mind, but aren’t they supposed to be illuminated otherwise when the parking lights are activated?

Door speaker options?

Anyone know 6.5 speakers fit well into the front and door housings?

I got some Metra 82-3002 speaker adapters, according to Amazon, they fit all four 2001 Yukon, but the instruction booklet shows they only fit front doors and only 95-99.

How do you guys install the rear door speakers?

Somehow these adapters don’t fit the rear door at all.

Are they supposed to attach to the housing that was already in there??

I’m going to use these baffle enclosures for the speakers to help increase the bass a bit, as well as protect the speakers from moisture, and seems like I may not even need the adapters for the rear.

So far it looks like it will work.

And just for good measure, here is a photo of those adapters on top of the speakers in the stock housing... There would have been nowhere to attach the screws.

Possibly incorrect adapters? What is the correct model number for the correct adapters?

How about a picture of the stock speakers in the stock location unmolested? I looked through my pics and can't find any of the rear door speakers but I know there wasn't anything difficult or I would remember. Maybe you can just install them in the original location with no adapters? Also, if you use those foam surrounds, you need to cut the bottom half off or they will sound terrible. You cant seal them in that small of a space, they need to breathe. take those things and cut them in half and just put them over the top as a water shield. The door itself is the enclosure. And where is your plastic vapor barrier? If they're missing you need to use sound deadener or heavy plastic sealed around the perimeter of the door before you install the speaker (cut a hole for the speaker to mount into) or they will sound terrible. You need to create a somewhat sealed enclosure out of the door for the bass.

Definitely wrong adapters! Those are for the OBS trucks (Old Body Style), you have a NBS truck(New Body Style). Find the ones for your truck, and then they should fit!
