B pillar black trim rattle

So I searched a bit and only found one thread that came close to my issue.

How many of you DO NOT experience buffetting and vibration problem?

So the dealer called me today after having my car for 3 days and says: Service Advisor: It's the tires. Yep. It's the tires. Me: Tires are new. Like 1,500 miles new. What do you mean "It's the tires". That doesn't make any damn sense. And it had the issue before I replaced the tires...

I noticed the rubber trim between the glass and the plastic trim isn’t “sealing” correctly and it seems it comes up short letting in the wind at high speeds causing the rattle. Anyone else have this issue?

Yes I had that issue. I solved it by applying 3M double sided foam tape, meant for auto applications, onto the interface between the door and the trim.

These trim pieces are horrible!!!
+1 on the 3M auto tape. I've used that on 2 of my pillars and that has helped. New trim pieces are $40+ shipping...
Yes, you can remove. DON'T break the clip on the middle back of the trim piece, or it will be worse than when you started fiddling w/ it.

Get yourself a set of plastic trim removal tools. Take your time and work around it with the tools.
